Fenton, Missouri is an outer ring suburb located on the southern border of Saint Louis County with a population of 4,285 people according to the 2008 census estimate. The renowned Meramec River serves as the northern and eastern boundaries for Fenton. With the reputation of being the “City of Parks”, Fenton offers over 340 acres of parkland and features a 1.4 mile pedestrian/bicycle path adjacent to the River. The majority of the city’s land is devoted to industrial and commercial use, exemplified by the multitude of corporations headquartered in Fenton, including Mayflower and United Van lines, UniGroup, Wolff Shoes and Fabick, and more. One of the most famed landmark in Fenton is the Chrysler assembly plans located on the north side of I-44.
